Cole Watts (Baseball Player, Eight Bars Parents)

My mom is clueless,
She thinks I’m a good baseball player,
But she only knows what mother’s know,
That their kids are perfect.

Truth is, I don’t really like baseball,
I’ve always played,
It’s a part of me, but if they would have let me,
I would have quit a long time ago.

My father is just as clueless,
He thinks he was a good athlete,
But he never got recruited or even played much,
Like father like son, right?

I can’t go along with my parents,
Coach Weaver is fair with me,
He knows the baseball deal,
Mom and Dad don’t.
