Perspectives: 133/365

Maya Thomson (Soccer, Eight Bars Parents)

My parents are usually so chill,
Mom owns a yoga studio,
Namaste.
My father is a GP,
Get well soon.

They are not normal with sports, though,
My mother is a hypocrite,
With one face telling me to appreciate everything,
To nourish my karma,
To live in the moment,
Yet she is raging on my coach,
Suggesting that Rooney might be gay,
Like that matters,
She is nice to us, she helps us learn.
I wish we won more,
But we just can’t get it done for our coach.

My father is a pansy,
He does whatever She wants.
I wish his spine was true.
