After Reading of Mr. Bell

So many become prisoners,
Locked inside their homes,
Trapped by the burdens,
Real or made up.
Mountains of stuff rise,
Hoarded collections of importance
Drive their families away,
Keep friends at bay, and
Steal, from their minds,
The person everyone once knew.
Bugs find a home.
Rats find a home.
Yet these people of wealth
Live all alone.

How?
