The Gift of the Finger

Lights bulbs may flip on
At a moments notice and
In the most unbelievable places.

Awareness of the message is key.

The way of an arrogant can be
A burden better suited for an ass.
The high and mighty one can be
That beast carrying a burden
That does him no good.

A dog dropped his deuce,
The steam sending smoke signals
To the arrogant of an impending lesson,
But the scooper was unaware,
Forcefully grabbing the mound of stink.

He should have been more mindful.
His finger, the middle one,
Pushed through the bag,
Becoming covered in his dog’s scat.

Ah, the coincidence of the finger
Burying itself in excrement.
Go easy with the scoop.
Go easy with the day.
