My dog is a gentle bad ass
He walks around with a cocky bounce
Supported by bulging muscles and
An angular head
He drops his voice real low
When little yapping dogs
Come into our yard
Then they leave and he reverts
To the gentle pit bull he is
Climbing onto my lap,
Falling asleep, and just resting away
